BEST transfer Lisbon to Porto with stops

"We had a transfer from Lisbon to Porto and back with stops on both ways. Our driver, Luis, was very friendly, informative and good-humoured and we ended up learning a lot about the places we visited as he explained them before giving us free time to explore whilst he looked after our luggage. On the way to Porto we stopped at Obidos and Nazare and, on the way back, Coimbra and Conimbriga. It was a great way to get a taste of 4 places and every destination was a highlight. 10 out 10 was well worth it and highly recommend!"

We didn’t get a basic tour, but something much more unique. With his in depth study of history, he was able to give us excellent detail and the story behind both Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira. Amazing to see the well from inside and walk through a maze of tunnels. What a great experience at Regaleira, thank you Luis! This tour was by far the highlight of our vacation to Portugal!"

"I can’t say enough good things about this amazing tour with No Map Tours! We had a wonderful day at Alcobaca, Batalha and Tomar with our expert guide, Sandra. From the time we met at the hotel in Lisbon until the time the tour was done, she gave us information about the historical context, architecture and role of each of the monasteries in the kingdom of Portugal. The sites are must-see architecture masterpieces. It's difficult to pick a favorite, but the Gothic style of the Batalha monastery and the history of the Knights Templar in Tomar stand out. Exceptional historical and fun knights templar tour from Lisbon to Tomar

"Hands up, we have found the Holy Grail of tour guides - Sandra :) She is extremely knowledgeable about her beloved Templars and very friendly. When we saw a guide in a Templar cloak approach our hotel in the morning, we immediately knew we were going to have a spectacular day. Little did we know that there were also cloaks for the 4 of us (yes, my husband threw a tantrum when it was time to return it). We just loved our tour and the photos turned out fantastic. Almourol Castle made us dream and the boat ride was very special. The recommendation for lunch at a medieval restaurant was the icing on the cake. We had the best time and we could not more enthusiastically recommend her services."

Visit the Queluz Palace and Mafra Palace with a History Buff!

"My wife and I had a great experience on this tour. It's not just a history lesson, but a complete cultural trip on the baroque period lifestyle. We were picked up in a luxury Mercedes car from our hotel in Lisbon and our guide almost immediately began weaving in the intricate historical and political details of the Palace of Queluz. She brought us room by room in the palace telling us story after story about the place. After touring the Palace of Queluz and the gardens, we went to Mafra. The miles we walked inside the Palace of Mafra were beautiful steps through time enriched by Sandra's explanations and details. Excellent guide led us thru 2 beautiful palaces in Portugal and gave us many interesting facts and history. We can´t even pick a favorite part. Following Sandra's recommendation, we had the best lunch in the coastal town of Ericeira, overlooking the ocean. We had a fantastic experience with No Map Tours. What makes it really stand out is that they are a local family-owned company. We would definitely recommend this tour."

Best way to visit 3 UNESCO monasteries in a day trip from Lisbon

"We had an outstanding full day private tour to 3 world heritage monasteries of Portugal. Our tour guide Sandra was phenomenal! We loved her vast knowledge of the history of each monastery. She told us all kinds of fascinating details room by room of all the monasteries and answered all of our questions. We enjoyed immensely the rich history of the knights templar at the convent of Tomar and its architecture. And we loved hearing the tragic love story of King Peter and Ines in Alcobaca, while admiring their tombs. "Great tour to hit different parts of Portugal in 1 day. First stop, Monastery of Batalha, has a lot of interesting history and stunning architecture. Then, epic scenery at Nazare. Last, we went to the medieval town of Obidos, which was beautiful!! It was great to explore and provided opportunities for some creative photos. Our guide, Luis, was one of a kind – the best we had in Portugal. He had outstanding knowledge and real passion. Made the experience unforgettable. Perfect half day Fatima private tour from Lisbon

"I wanted to visit Fatima since I was a child and our guide Luis made the experience incredible. He was superb and his reverence is genuine. He has even made the pilgrimage on foot from Lisbon, as the Portuguese do. We were impressed to hear the 3 children's story and to be where these events occurred. He covered all aspects of the pilgrimage site - the basilicas, the tradition of lighting candles, the Chapel of the Apparitions, the message of peace and the children's houses. Palaces of Queluz and Mafra are must sees when in Lisbon

"We had an amazing time touring the Queluz Palace, the Mafra Palace and Ericeira for lunch with Sandra as our guide. Each stop was wonderful and interesting. She met us in the lobby of our hotel in Lisbon and, on the way, gave us a bit of history on what was to come. When we arrived in Queluz, she already had the tickets and we started the tour with a broad overview of Queluz, the royalty that lived there and a glimpse into what life would have been like. The gardens are also spectacular and she´ll guide you through the various groves as well. One of the most professional and knowledgeable guides we've ever had. Obviously know the palaces like the back of her hand and obviously really loves what she does."

"Interesting and fun tour, loved every moment! The Almourol castle and the Convent of Christ at Tomar are incredible pieces of Portuguese history and world architecture. Don't leave without a visit! Our guide was absolutely brilliant. She gave us a great overview of 200 years of the Templars in Europe, and another 500 or 600 of the Order of Christ (the Portuguese Templars). Very professional approach. Her knowledge, and love, of the knights templar runs deep. Unforgettable experience!"

"We wanted the convenience and comfort of a private driver to get from Lisbon to Porto. In the course of our research, we realized we could also work in a stop for lunch and a side trip or two to visit points of interest. We fortunately found No Map Tours. Perfect! Our driver, Luis Oliveira, was at the hotel on time (actually got there early as a precaution). He was professional but also very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The itinerary was left open for us to decided what we wanted to see and do. Lunch was reserved for us due to our travel day being a holiday and restaurants being unusually busy. We had the option, though, of choosing an alternative if we wanted. We didn’t change and were very pleased. All in all, a great ride and a great day."

"The tour was great from start to finish. An amazing experience with the best guide. Sandra picked us up from our Lisbon hotel at 8:30am and brought us over to the little quaint town of Obidos for a walking tour with lots of fascinating facts. We were also able to explore on our own and support a lot of the little shops along the way eheh. From there we went to the spectacular ocean cliffs of Sitio at Nazare. Lunch was the cherry on top of a perfect cake. She gave us wonderful options at Nazare and her recommendation was spot on. We had a very fresh and perfectly prepared seabass, and a delicious seafood stew. Last, we went to Batalha, where she immersed us with the history and stories about the monastery. She brought everything to life and involved all of us. Brilliant. Certainly recommend her and this trip."

We stopped in Obidos and Nazare on the way North and in Coimbra on the way back. "What a fantastic way to spend a day out of Lisbon. No Map Tours set up our full day tour to Queluz, Mafra and Ericeira perfectly! Our guide picked us up from our hotel in Lisbon at 8:30am and brought us over to Queluz for our visit. Mafra trully is an immense palace (also basilica and convent), but our guide was able to pinpoint must-see areas and provide important historical stories to bring the whole experience together, allowing us to fully understand the time period of John the 5th and the man himself who went about building the Palace of Mafra. We especially loved her recommendation for lunch at Ericeira. Excellent tour with a highly qualified guide who enhanced our experience. She has in-depth knowledge of history of the palaces. "We loved the day trip to Tomar. The Convent of Christ / Castle of Tomar has a long and interesting history, and it's an amazing architectural structure. But aside the spectacular Almourol Castle and its scenery, the Convent of Christ and the city of Tomar itself, our guide was a wealth of information. Very clear and informative. She helped us understand the context in which the Knights Templar formed the kingdom of Portugal (the Port of the Grail) so far away from the Holy City, Jerusalem. A Day to Remember with Pleasure

"My custom tour of Cascais was expertly carried out by Sandra. I enjoyed my visit to the market, the Boca do Inferno, the Condes de Castro Guimarães house museum, the Casa de Santa Maria, and the lighthouse. Despite a very restorative lunch at a Portuguese restaurant, and a delicious lactose-free ice-cream, I did not have the stamina to fully explore the Museu do Mar Rei Dom Carlos I, and I needed to take a nap instead of going to the Citadela de Cascais artisan centre. I loved hearing Sandra’s stories about the unique houses in and around Cascais, and their famous (or infamous) occupants, and learning about the history of the area. Sandra’s driving was impeccable, and I felt very safe in her vehicle. Also, my thanks to Sandra for an unscheduled, early-morning stop at the Tower of Belem, which I had missed seeing the day before due to over-crowding. I thoroughly recommend both Sandra and No Map Tours."

Saving the best for last in Portugal

"It was our last full day in Portugal. We were ready to go before 8:00 am, and already our private tour guide/driver Luis was outside the hotel waiting. And with good reason - we drove up, up, up to the Pena Palace about 15 miles northwest of Lisbon, and arrived ahead of the crowds and Vatican-length admission line. Luis was an overflowing well of information during the drive up, then (after a brief walk through the surrounding gardens) whisked us through the Palace entry. He led us in and out of sections and rooms, explaining the Palace's history and resulting mish-mash of architecture with genuine fervor and the occasional joke. After the Pena Palace we headed to the town of Sintra for coffee and "pillows" (an incredible Portuguese pastry) at a local shop, then off to the cliffs and raging waves at Cabo da Roca, the western-most point of Europe. Luis regaled us with tales of how, way back when, people believed the world was flat and ended there - venture further and you'd fall off the edge! A stop and a stroll in Coney Island-like Cascais followed, while Luis went to grab some lunch. We met up after, stopped for a second at the Casino Estoril (which Luis informed us was the inspiration for Ian Fleming's "Casino Royale"), and breezed along the highway back to Lisbon. As far as tour guides, Luis Oliveira is the king - knowledgable, entertaining and trustworthy. Anyone who books a No Map Tour should be lucky enough to get Luis!"

"We booked the private tour with hotel pickup, which I can only recommend to everyone. Pena Palace and Regaleira are attractions that tend to be overcrowded even in the off-season. Our guide Luis organized everything so that we were with the first group at Pena Palace. Even in the palace he managed to ensure that we were always a little ahead of the larger groups. During the Regaleira tour we walked along paths that also took us past the crowds. Even to eat in Sintra we managed to get a table before the guests lined up. In addition, of course, there is extensive knowledge about the sights. Particularly important in Regaleira, where you need background knowledge about the Knights Templar to understand why the garden was built the way it was. Luis was perfectly organized, friendly and we had a wonderful day with humor and charm. You should be able to walk well for the tour, then you can discover a lot more."

"We’re so happy we spent the money on this private, all day tour. Our driver and personal tour guide, Luis Oliveira was punctual arriving at 8 in a Mercedes-Benz station wagon and very knowledgeable of all the places he took us to. The Pena castle is a work of art and the Quinta of Regaleira, the grounds and the well were beautiful. Both very different and unique in their styles but well worth the trip. Luis had our entrance tickets for the first slot and we didn’t have to wait on line as many have reported. Luck was on our side with the weather, not too hot or cold, just right. A bit of caution both require walking a lot, up and down stairs, walkways, and cobblestone walkways. Best to be very mobile. We then went to the coast town of Cascais. Our guide did not accompany us inside the places we went to and he was basically just a driver. He gave us very little time in Fatima and being Catholics, we were really very disappointed. He got us there early to beat the crowds and provided umbrellas when it started to rain. His knowledge of the palace enhanced the experience and he took lots of photos of us in the beautiful setting. We then visited Cabo de Roca and lunched in Cascais. Both were beautiful and Luis knew all the best places for good views and food. His car was roomy and comfortable. A whimsical trip back in time

"Me and my husband picked a couple of things to splurge on for our trip to Portugal… this private tour was one of them…and I am SO glad we did. I would give this tour 100 stars if I could. It was worth every penny. Our guide, Luis, was so professional, kind, and knowledgeable. He was passionate about teaching us the history of Portugal and took so much pride telling us about his amazing country. I learned so much and we were fascinated with history, art and culture every step of the way. Luis is a trained guide and it really shows. I’ve never had a better tour guide in all my travels. I had gotten food poisoning the night before the trip and was so happy we had such nice accommodations (a private Mercedes with leather seats, WiFi, AC, and bottled water) to and from Sintra, because I wasn’t feeling well. The car ride was a breeze and he picked us up and dropped us off right at our hotel. If Luis hadn’t driven us and helped us to navigate the sights, we probably would’ve only seen 1/100th of what we did (not even exaggerating). You absolutely need a guide for these sights and a private guide is definitely the way to do it. I could write so much more. It was such a great experience. Thank you Luis. "This trip is perfect if you want to see the Pena Palace. Luis picked us up at 8 so we were in the first group to enter the palace. We saw the palace without the massive crowds and Luis gave us a every informative tour. By starting the tour early we also beat the crowds in Sintra. Had a great lunch in Cascáis and plenty of time to explore. The drive back from Cascais to Lisbon was beautiful. Luis was a wealth of knowledge and met our everything need."

I really appreciated Sandra's honesty that a full day tour may be too much for a 12 month old since it is not stroller friendly and steep hills. "Luis was fantastic! We were scheduled for our tour on a Tuesday with an 8:00AM pick-up. The tour company contacted us Monday to alert us that the Peña Palace workers might be going on strike Tuesday, but there was no way to know definitively. After speaking with the tour company, we decided to chance it… the workers did end up striking so we weren’t able to go to the Palace Tuesday. Luis gave us several other options to chose from and even offered to continue the rest of the tour and them come back and bring us just to Peña Palace the next day (his day off!). We had a fantastic time on Tuesday and he came back as promised Wednesday to explore Peña Palace. Exceeded our expectations! He was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Luis gave us lots of tips, answered all our questions and was wonderful with my two daughters. You won’t be disappointed! Great Sintra experience

"This was a great way to have a private tour. It was just my wife and myself with our guide luis. We were picked up at our hotel and went straight to Sintra. All along the way luis provided history and little known facts about our destination. We got there as they opened and were in the first group that went into Pena Palace. Luis giuded us through the palace with the history and details about the construction. We stopped for plenty of pictures and felt we saw everything in about an hour. We then stopped for a local pastery and drink before we went to Regaleira. Our guides knowledge of the property allowed us to see some of the best locations without getting lost in this expansive property. Afterwards we went to Cascais for a late lunch. Luis provided multiple resturants based on our prefrence and the meal we had was great. We finally drove back to the hotel taking a scenic coastal route. It was a great way to see Sintra without being in a larger group. Well worth it."

"This tour was awesome! Many thanks to our excellent guide Luis. We started our tour at 8:00am and did not return to our hotel until 4:00pm. Luis thoroughly explained what we would see in Sintra and Cascais and everything in between. The highlight of the day was Pena Palace. We stopped at a bakery and tried “pillows” which were a delicious flaky pastry and ate lunch at a great seafood restaurant. "We went on a day trip to Sintra with our private guide Sandra. She picked us up in (and brought us back to) the hotel which was very convenient. The first tour was in The Pena Palace. Sandra had a brilliant way of telling historic facts, mixed with stories and humourous details. We had plenty of time to take photos and stop wherever we wanted to look around. At 10.30 h. we had a coffee with Travesseiros in the famous Piqirita café, delicious! After that we went to The Quinta da Regaleira. This breathtaking gardens and buildings were unforgettable!!! "I used this company for a private day trip to Sintra. they communicated the pick up times and expectations up front. My female guide (whose name escapes me sorry) was on time and had a lot of knowledge on the history of Portugal and Sintra. I normally do not like museums but she kept my attention during the interior tour of sintra. We arrived before the crowds at 9:15 and was able to walk in without a wait. By the time we were finishing, there was a line. We did went to downtown SIntra which she showed me around and I had breakfast. We then headed to Capa Da Roca which was simply beautiful. From there to Caiscas for lunch. This was a great trip."

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our day touring the 3 Monasteries with Sandra. We thought it would be a small group tour but since we were the only people that signed up we had a wonderful private tour (it is good to know No Map Tours does not cancel). Sandra is very knowledgeable about the locales and stories of each monastery. Most importantly, she has the rare ability to convey the information in an informal, casual, and sometimes humorous manner so we could absorb the fascinating history and architecture of each site.
It was a lot to grasp in one day (nine hours), But the pace was relaxed and we never felt rushed, although one could take pictures at each place forever. "We had the pleasure of having Luis as our tour guide yesterday. He was such an amazing guide taking us to visit the Pene Palace and touring Sinatra. He also took us to the western tip of Europe and to the lighthouse at Cabo Da Roca. We then went on to the quaint little town of Cascais where we walked around the shops. He also recommended the best restaurant…Maritimo where we had the best food since we were in Portugal. His knowledge of the places we visited where with full of detail. Although Luis was the "driver" for the tour and Sandra was the Guide, they both are extremely well versed in the history of the area - and extremely personable too. There were four of us in the group, and we were picked up in a Mercedes mini-van at our hotel. Sandra was our guide, and she provided an outstanding overview and history of the sites we saw. She gave us plenty of time to explore and take pictures at every stop. Now here's a tip to consider: Book the tour with separate driver and guide like we did. Why? Because Sandra was free to escort us at each stop while Luis focused on locating parking spots along the route. It's the most efficient use of time and it was nice to have her with us when touring the Pena Castle. We enjoyed it and we think you will too."

"My husband and I had a full day private tour of Sintra and Cascais with Sandra on November 6, 2019. It was one of our favorite days during our 6-day trip traveling through Portugal. Sandra picked us up early at our hotel so we could be among the first visitors to Palacio Nacional de Peña. On our drive to the palace in her impeccably clean car, she provided detailed historical background information that really helped us enjoy our visit so much more. She also accompanied us for about half our our time there to continue our education, and then gave us another hour to walk the grounds on our own. We then enjoyed a trip down the hill to explore the charming town of Sintra where we shopped and enjoyed coffee and pastry at Piriquita. We loved our brief stop at Cabo da Roca to enjoy the views of the rugged coastline and then continued on to Cascais where we had an incredible lunch and wandered the streets of this charming seaside town. Finally, Sandra drove us back to our hotel and told us more interesting stories and history as we drove. She was a perfect guide, very friendly and helpful but not overly intrusive. Her English is excellent so there were no difficulties in communication. This private tour was worth every penny we spent on it and we would recommend No Map Tours and this tour in particular to anyone traveling in the Lisbon area!"

WOW! Best guide and tour experience EVER!

"Luis Oliveira requested that we begin out tour very early ... we soon realized why. Luis arrive in a new car with a big sunroof, and off we went. Luis started providing us with pertinent facts about various sights we were driving by. We made it to the castle of Pena and we were virtually at the front of the line ... the early departure paid off. Luis provided just the right amount of history.
Quick drive (Luis is a very safe and courteous driver) to Cabo da Roca, Luis gave us a short history lesson then we walked around and took pics.

"We were a party of 5 who took this private No Map Tours excursion to Sintra and Cascais. Sandra, our driver/guide provided a running commentary en route to Sintra.
We were picked up at 8:15 so that we arrived at Pena Palace before it got crowded. We were able to enter Pena Palace without standing in line as she provided pre-purchased tickets for both Palace entry and the shuttle from the parking lot. She accompanied us through our Palace visit providing a wealth of historical information. After our Palace visit she dropped us at the town square with instructions where to find the famous "Pillow Pastry" and shops to visit. She took us on a guided excursion up the coast to Cascais where we had a fabulous seafood lunch - the Tiger Prawns were particularly inviting. She dropped us back at our AirBnb after an 8 hour day which was the perfect amount of time. So nice to have a private tour which actually didn't cost much more than a semi-private tour. "Sandra was terrific about communicating prior to our meeting for the tour. My husband and I met early on a Sunday morning. Luis was our very personable driver. Getting to Sintra just when the palace opened was great as we had no lines. On the ride from Lisbon we heard much about the history of Portugal. We had many general questions about life in Portugal which resulted in interesting conversation with Sandra. She accommodated our desire to visit a site not on the tour. We decided to cut some time out of or visit to Cascais and that was fine for everyone. She directed us to the best patiserie in Sintra for snack. On to the cliffs and lighthouse and then lunch in Cascais. We appreciated time alone for lunch and exploring a bit. They were both highly personable and knowledgable and the day was memorable. A Wonderful Day With Sandra and Luis

"I explained our hopes and priorities in emails with Sandra and left the rest to her. She managed to get a lot into our 7+ hours of time in port. She warned us that, since we could not get started before 0900, getting an inside tour of the Pena Palace would be impossible without standing in line. So, she purchased tickets for an outside tour of the palace. By the time we could get to the palace the lines to get inside were enormous. We would have spent well over an hour of our limited time in port standing there. Instead, Sandra gave us a throughly excellent and informative tour of the exterior of the castle. The place is spectacular.
Then we went back down to the town of Sintra and had the chance to walk around and shop with thousands of other tourists. We’d expressed an interest in learning about Port, so Sandra took us to a small wine shop where we proceeded to taste at least 8 different ports — one was an 1815 vintage which retailed for $3000 a bottle. We learned a lot. We drank a lot. And we spent a lot (no-not on the $3000 bottle.).
Next, we were off to Cascais for a nice lunch and quick look at the town. Then a return to Lisbon on the coast road. Upon arriving in Lisbon, we got quick looks at several of the iconic sites before Luis masterfully negotiated the traffic and returned us to our ship.
Sandra and Louis are smart, knowledgeable and great companions. I recommend their services in the strongest possible terms."

His restaurant recommendations were great. His calm and welcoming demeanor made for an enjoyable afternoon. He also did well to engage my son throughout the day, including a gelato shop recommendation! We highly recommend Luis and this private tour. This tour is great if you seek a private guided experience. I did not feel the need for the second guide, but if you are not comfortable on your own walking around in a small town, then you may opt for that selection. Great tour led by great people

"It took us more than thirty hours door to door to get to Lisbon from L.A. due to late flights, misconnections, and a jet engine that wouldn’t start. And to add insult to injury, our luggage didn’t arrive when we finally did. But bright and early the next morning we met our guide Sandra and her driver husband, Luis for our full day visit to Sintra and Casca, and suddenly all was good again.
Sandra is a terrific guide. Her English is great, her personality sunny, her historic knowledge off the charts. We really enjoyed our tour of the castle in Sintra; Sandra timed our pickup so we would be among the first people to arrive there, which resulted in us avoiding the gigantic lines we encountered when we left. But the highlight of the day was Cascais; we hope to come back soon for an extended beach holiday there. It’s a wonderful town.

"We spent a wonderful day today on a private tour with Sandra and Nelson to the Palace at Sintra and the surrounding town, plus Cabo de Roca (western most point in Europe), and Cascais. What a great day. Sandra timed it perfectly so we beat the crowds at the palace. She gave us an incredibly informative tour of the history of the site and the Portuguese monarchy. There was also time for us to walk around on our own. We had some great photo ops before the crowds came in and didn’t have to rush. We then proceeded to the town of Sintra where Sandra recommended an amazing pastry shop and again let us wander on our own. In Cabo de Roca she made sure our valuables were secured, as this is a big pick pocket area. It was a great and windy view! Finally we drove down the coast to Cascais. Sandra gave us three restaurant recommendations for lunch and one for gelato, then gave us time to meander through the town. Everything was at our pace, no rush. Finally we drove back along the coast into Lisbon. All in all, a great day with a very informative host. She welcomed all kinds of general questions about Portugal. She is fabulous, and Nelson is great as well. He is a ver safe and friendly driver. Strongly recommend!!"

Could not have asked for a better tour of Sintra

"We spent a day with Sandra as she guided us through the royal castles of Sintra, the seaside town of Cascais, and Cabo da Roca. Throughout the trip, she filled us in on the history, culture, and current events in and around the different sites we visited. She is deeply knowledged, engaging, and caring (we traveled with a 83-year old family member). Since we were also big foodies, we gave us great suggestions for both dessert and lunch whenever we stopped. And no, her restaurant choices were not some commission-based tourist traps. They were solid local favs. She was also a great planner, making sure we arrive in time at certain locations to avoid crowds and that we get the most of our time at each location. All in all, Sandra was amazing and we were really glad she was our guide in Lisbon."

Marvelous Tour

"Luis picked us up as agreed and off we headed on a lovely trip to the Pena Palace in Sintra, which that day was unusually shrouded in fog. This did not dampen our spirits in the least. Luis is a fabulous guide, very knowledgeable, with a delightful dry sense of humour and an excellent mastery of English! He can manouevre the narrowest roads and tightest parking spaces and never get ruffled! Luis is very accommodating and adapts to the customer”s wishes whenever feasible. Following the visit of the beautifully eclectic Palace, we arrived at the old walled town of Sintra with its quaint little stores and the best pastry shop this side of heaven - Casa Piriquita with its mouth-watering “Travesseiros”. Next was the rugged and sandy coastline past Guincho Beach down to Cascais with Luis pointing out all the highlights along the way. At Cascais we had a delicious seafood lunch and strolled through the old town, picking up some Portuguese tiles and other items. Estoril was next along the route of the Portuguese Riviera. Luis indicated the grand old homes with their storied past and the casino which inspired Ian Fleming’s Casino Royale. Returning to Lisbon along the banks of the Tejo, he gave us other sightseeing tips and ideas.
We definitely had a lovely, informative and fun tour with Luis.

"What a wonderful day we had with Sandra and Louis. Right from the beginning it was easy to deal with No Map Tours.
Communication was clear and reminders sent. We were picked up early to beat the rush at Pena Palace, which we’re glad happened. The tour and information was terrific. We then went to old Sintra. We were taken to the most westerly point in continental Europe, this was wonderful and views spectacular.
Cascais was very interesting and we enjoyed and great lunch.
All of this was enjoyed with Louis driving and talking and Sandra giving us interesting information. The small Mercedes van was so comfortable and with only myself, my husband, our son and daughter in law on the tour it was very intimate.

"This review was long due... We visited Lisbon in March 2019 end and had prebooked 3 tours with No Maps from Mumbai. Our contact person was Sandra. We planned the Sintra Cascais private tour, Nazare Obidos Convent of Christ Day tour and Evora Setubal Private tour. All of our three days of experience with Sandra was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in conducting the tours. Also there was always this personal touch given at times of planning food stops, as there were some vegetarian eaters in our group. So all in all she ensured that all of us were comfortable throughout. Even when we had plans for a 2 day trip to Porto, she helped us in booking train tickets and also a one way drop by road at the eleventh hour.
